The Ultimate Fighter Live Semifinals 2012

The pitch of The Ultimate Fighter is starting to take form, tonight is the concluding episode before the live finale. The ground presently is still level, as Team Faber and Team Cruz both have two combatants each left in the contest.

These four players will be fighting for the Ultimate Fighters Semifinals 2012. Here is a prediction of both semifinal fights.

James Vick vs. Michael Chiesa fight

James Vick has finished an improbable run on the show thus far, demonstrating to be the real dark horse of the season.

Vick is fresh in his career, carrying just a 4-0 record. But, he is the tallest fighter on the tournament and has a reliable wingspan.

His newest win saw him destroy another deeply preferred opponent in Joe Proctor. He conquered the expert grappler by unanimous decision, grabbing his space in the semifinals.

On the other corner of the Octagon will be Michael Chiesa, the man fighting in his recently late father's remembrance.

This match-up is exciting, as Vick is a rock-hard boxer with decent take-down defense, and Chiesa is virtuously a submission wrestler with persistent take-downs. Chiesa is going to be the substantially sturdier, bigger guy, while Vick will have the height and grasp lead.

We are expecting Chiesa to notch his take-down and ultimately submit Vick to gain his spot in the finals.

The prediction will be Michael Chiesa defeating James Vick via submission.

Al Iaquinta vs. Vinc Pichel fight

This fight between Iaquinta and Pichel is going to be attention-grabbing, as many will select Iaquinta. Pichel should not be tallied out, though, as he is brilliant in most facets of MMA.

Eventually, it will be an adjacent fight. We will be expecting Iaquinta to use his grander multifaceted skills to gain the affirmation on the judge's tallies.

The prediction will be Al Iaquinta defeating Vinc Pichel via decision.
