Time Magazine breast-feeding cover: Is it really sensual?

Have you read the Time lately?

Time Magazine’s extraordinary cover may have made a small number of subscribers feel embarrassment and eventually, exploded a passionate discussion about attachment child-rearing and breast-feeding.

Martin Schoeller, the photographer, who brought the image of 26-year-old mom Jamie Lynne Grumet breast-feeding her three-year-old son stimulated discussions about what makes a respectable cover, and what shoves the limitations of taste.

Schoeller said in Time’s “Behind the Cover” editorial that he considered the religious imagery of the Madonna and Child for creativeness in generating this provoking modern image.

Pushing the borders is what makes a cover amazing, stated bythe Post’s visuals editor, David Griffin. He’s directed National Geographic and U.S. News & World Report in their cover designs formerly, and was fascinated by Time’s eye-catching image.

As for ordinary subscribers who will read that at home or in the office, what do you think about the Time Magazine breast-feeding cover? Is it really a good or a bad cover of a Time Magazine?
