Saturday May 19 in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco (Mexico), super flyweight champion of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) Juan Carlos Sanchez, a southpaw, will present his belt against Juan Alberto "Topo" Rosas.
Sanchez has a record of (13-1-1, 7 KOs) while the veteran "Topo" Rosas (36-6-0, 27 KOs). This will be the first defense of the young Sánchez after winning surprisingly to Rodrigo "Gato" Guerrero.
Former world champion "Topo" Rosas is the obligatory challenger after elimination bout being enacted on South Africa's Zolani Tete in what was an elimination bout, so he became an official challenger, an obligation which the "southpaw" makes his first defense.
The evening is prearranged by Zanfer and will be broadcasted by TV Azteca.
